Hannah Morgan, of Gnosall, Stafford, won one of 160 places more than 500 competed for. Hannah, a student at St Dominic's School, Brewood, will go on two-week residential courses in the winter, spring and summer holidays. These culminate in performances at concert halls including Symphony Hall, Birmingham. She will also play in the annual BBC Prom at The Royal Albert Hall. Read the full story in the Express & Star.

Hannah has played the oboe since the age of 10 and, is a member of The Staffordshire School for Talented Young Musicians.

She is also a member of The Staffordshire County Music School Symphony Orchestra.

She hopes, after A levels, to gain a place at The Royal Academy, London and then to join a leading world orchestra.
