Hannah Morgan, of Gnosall, Stafford, won one of 160 places more than 500 competed for. Hannah, a student at St Dominic's School, Brewood, will go on two-week residential courses in the winter, spring and summer holidays. Hannah has played the oboe since the age of 10 and, is a member of The Staffordshire School for Talented Young Musicians.
She is also a member of The Staffordshire County Music School Symphony Orchestra.
She hopes, after A levels, to gain a place at The Royal Academy, London and then to join a leading world orchestra.
