Time to clamp down on parking

When will the board and security staff at Russells Hall Hospital start to clamp down on parking? I am waiting to read about or witness first hand someone getting knocked down.

The reason I think this will happen is because of people parking on the pavement from the island round the bend to the entrance of the car park. I have witnessed mothers with prams and young children having to walk in the road while buses and cars drive into the hospital.

They also park on the opposite side of the road on the double yellows, which makes it harder to see people waiting to cross from the car park.

I truly think the council should repaint all the double yellows and make the main road in front of the hospital and Hospital Road a red route. The hospital should then get contractors in to tow away any illegally parked cars.
