A rock'n'roll band taking the Black Country by storm is to headline an entertainment-packed show next month.
Footloose will be recreating the sounds of the '50s and '60s through the music of legends such as Buddy Holly, Bill Haley and Elvis.
They are inviting people to dust off their teddy boy outfits and get on the dancefloor at the Woodcross Club, Woodcross Lane, Lanesfield, on September 23. Bilston-based promoter Joe Boden said: "This is no run-of-the-mill pub band, they are something special. They are the best thing to come out of Bilston since Slade.
"Each member is widely experienced in their own field and have come together to reproduce the sounds that took the world by storm in that unforgettable era."
The three-hour bill also features Corletts Characters - "a world class ultra-violet light show with magical puppetry," Pink Lace a girl band nurtured by Mr Boden and his own tribute act to Black Country comedienne Dolly Allen.
Bookings can be made on 01922 721 130 or 01902 495 257 evenings.
