The 22-year-old from Staffordshire has landed the role as head cheerleader Patty Simcox. And she is also the understudy to actress Susan McFadden, who is taking on the lead of Sandy after winning the ITV reality show Grease is the Word.
The show opens at the Piccadilly Theatre tomorrow, marking the end of months of gruelling rehearsals. Siobhan, from Lichfield, a finalist in the BBC show How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, says she cannot wait.
But the former Friary High School pupil is also apprehensive at the prospect of taking the lead role if Susan becomes ill.
She said: "I just think, oh crikey, I hope that I can pull this off and people aren't going to be annoyed that I'm playing Sandy when Susan's away. That would be a nightmare, and she is amazing."
