The popular teenager, a former pupil at Shelfield Sports College, went into the pool near Ryders Hayes Lane, Pelsall, on Sunday evening.

Originally from High Street, Brownhills, he moved to Burntwood around two years ago with his mother Paula, aged 52.

Details of his funeral, which takes place on Wednesday next week, have been released today by his family.

His cousin said the finishing touches were still being put to the service but the family were planning to ask at least a couple of his friends to address the congregation.

His funeral is at St Michael's Church, Church Road, Pelsall, at 11.30am followed by burial at North Walsall Cemetery.

All his family and friends are then invited to attend his wake at Pelsall Labour Club, Church Road.

People wanting to send flowers should deliver them to 112 Chester Road, Brownhills, on the day of the funeral and leave them outside.
