Thank you for the article and photograph you published following my return visit to Cancer Support at The Whitehouse, Dudley, of which I am a founder.
Thank you for the article and photograph you published following my return visit to Cancer Support at The Whitehouse, Dudley, of which I am a founder.
I would like to thank all the many friends who called in to see me.
It is 23 years since the idea was formed, and the centre for cancer support in Dudley is still a focus for those of us experiencing cancer, with many who have been there always able to support those who are diagnosed.
The Whitehouse, Dudley, with its volunteers and staff, provides understanding and information if this disease happens to you, or someone you love. Carers are welcome here too.
I have in the last year, since my husband's death, been critically ill with secondary cancer. Many of our friends are sadly now gone, but it is well worth remembering that after so long, many of them are still with us.
From my heart I say thank you to all who have helped and still are there to help at The Whitehouse today. My thanks also to the consultants, doctors and welfare workers, as well as the NHS and Dudley Council.
