Where do all the police go?

Well, well - so we do have a police force in Wolverhampton after all! But it's taken a football match to prove it.

If we can have so many police officers patrolling the streets on a Sunday it gives rise to the question of who gave the order to release them from behind their desks.

If someone can answer that question then perhaps they could also release some of them to do the job they were trained for on other days and nights in order to make the streets safer for the general public.

As an old age pensioner I can still remember the time when a policeman was a very important part of the community and not someone locked up behind a desk and allowed out occasionally. I'm not certain that they even had desks when I was a lad.

Of course, PC in this day and age stands for politically correct and not police constable.

Nowadays when I go to town I never see a police officer. In fact, when I go anywhere I never see a police officer. Where have they all gone?
