Thanks for animal aid

I would like to say a massive thank-you to all the people who gave up their time to help us in RSPCA Week (April 23 to 29).

I am delighted with the result, and also the response of the general public.

We are so grateful for the support of Tesco, for allowing us to collect all week outside their stores. We managed to raise a whopping £4,773 in cash, and people donated a further £1,500 worth of pet food!

In addition to this, we raised £2,835 from events that took place during the week. This brings the total to an amazing £9,108.

All the money and food will go towards improving the quality of life for the animals brought in to Birmingham Animal Centre.
