Beauty's big chance
A fitness instructor from Burntwood has beaten off stiff competition from thousands of beauty queen hopefuls to get through to the Miss England final.

Layla Ismail, aged 21, will be one of more than 75 girls battling for the crown next month.
She recently scooped the Miss Rugby title at regional level to secure her place in the Miss England final, having come second in the Miss Birmingham heat the week before.
Layla, who works at Esporta in Stafford, will be judged over a three-day period with the finals staged at the Walkers Stadium in Leicester on June 30.
Layla, who lives in the Boney Hay area of Burntwood, is a former student of Walsall College and Brownhills High School. She said: "I am really, really excited to have got this far."
