HomeZone has purchased five family homes, partly funded by Lichfield District Council, to provide temporary accommodation for families in need.
Although one of the properties earmarked is in Purcell Avenue, HomeZone was unable to confirm the locations of the other four homes.
Housing bosses at the charity have said the houses will be used to provide accommodation for families forced out of their homes for "any number of reasons."
But people in Purcell Avenue have expressed concern.
