Wolves season ticket holders Peter Jefferson and Laura Price were celebrating after Peter won a Vauxhall Corsa as part of a giveaway by Heart FM.
To cap off their good fortune, the next day Laura, a marketing assistant at Molineux, entered and won BRMB's big money game to take home £10,000.
The 27-year-olds, from the Offmore area of Kidderminster, say they had never won anything in their lives before.
They now plan to sell their 10-year-old Audi A4 and treat themselves to a family holiday of a lifetime in the Bahamas with their one-year-old son Harry.
Peter said today the pair still could hardly believe their luck, which he said proved perfect timing as they were having car trouble.
"It's just an absolute freak moment - we have never won anything before in our lives and our Audi had just failed its Mot.
"It needed £800 worth of work to pass and we just couldn't believe our luck. We had just started celebrating the new car and looking forward to selling the Audi when Laura texted me to say she had won the BRMB competition.
"I almost fell off my chair and punched the air with delight."
The news is an amazing reversal of fortunes for Peter, who was forced to give up his business in Tipton in December after developing epilepsy.
He ran the discount goods store Just What You Need in Union Street but the illness meant work became too much.
The couple's lucky streak started last Wednesday when Peter rang up Heart FM to enter the competition.
He correctly answered 10 general knowledge questions in 60 seconds to win a Vauxhall Corsa.
On Thursday Laura rang BRMB during a break from work and correctly guessed the mystery voice competition by identifying Tom from McFly.
The pair were pictured at Molineux yesterday where they were toasting their success and that of Mick McCarthy's men who beat West Bromwich Albion 1-0.
