We're in a right state
Hardly a week goes by without your letter writers or editorial outlining the woes about our present government. Some four years ago I had a short stay in hospital for tests.

Some four years ago I had a short stay in hospital for tests. One of the nurses was Filipino. I have no problem with this but was concerned that we may be plundering the Philippines health service to help our own.
Now things have changed. No longer a shortage, nurses face redundancy; an NHS, funded by billions yet short of cash.
Education, health and others have failed. Hit and run drivers go free. A once proud police force, now frustrated, is little more than skivvying for the government. In contrast, another person is persecuted for using the "wrong" litter bin.
We do not need the United States of Europe; we are in a right state already.
