Stars Emma Atkins, Dean Sullivan, Arthur Bostrum and Kate McEnery spent time socialising with cast and crew members at the Eastgate Street venue last night.

Rehearsals for the eagerly awaiting panto Dick Whittington begin today with just over a week until curtain-up.

Producer Derrick Gask said last night's meet and greet for the cast and crew allowed everyone to get to know one another.

Headlining in the title role is Emma Atkins, best known for her role as Charity Dingle in Emmerdale.

She is joined by former Brookside resident Dean Sullivan who will playing her arch enemy King Rat. Former Hollyoaks actress Kate McEnery also stars.
