They say there have been a few odd sightings this month but believe last night's sightings could have been a meteor shower.
Fast-moving lights were spotted over Kingswinford at about 8pm by a resident, who believes it could have been a UFO.
He said: "I was just pulling up to the junction of Glynne Road and Stream Road when out of the corner of my eye I saw a small, bright flash.
"It was not very big but was moving very quickly - faster than anything I have seen before and was just 150ft from the ground.
"I tried to follow its direction along the Portway and over the hill I could see this grey trail of vapour in a straight line."
Stourbridge-based paranormal group Uform said there has been a number of possible UFO sightings in Kingswinford in the last few weeks and believe one of the explanations could be a meteor shower.
The group will meet on Tuesday at The Mitre pub in Stourbridge at 8.15pm.
