Training to be toothless
How can you trust a leader who brings Great Britain Ltd into disrepute? As a shareholder by my National Insurance number, I object to giving some £50 billion each year to a corrupt and unelected organisation in Brussels.
How can you trust a leader who brings Great Britain Ltd into disrepute? As a shareholder by my National Insurance number, I object to giving some £50 billion each year to a corrupt and unelected organisation in Brussels when it all would be better used for the benefit of our nation.
Most of our major institutions have been allowed to run into administration - trains, hospitals, crime control, military forces, postal services, education, coal and steel production - all of which could have been saved by using the commercial expertise of our industrial managers.
Why can't the nation see how we are being taken to the cleaners for the benefit of some of our less well off European neighbours?
Our fishermen and farmers are being squeezed out of a living by our weak-kneed government bowing to Brussels mandarins. How can we have any faith in Mr Blair when he said in 1982: "Above all, the European Economic Community takes away Britain's freedom to follow the sort of economic policies we need"?
Then in 1983 he said: "We'll negotiate a withdrawal from the EEC which has drained out natural resources and destroyed jobs". In 1997 he said: "On the day we remember the legend that St George slayed a dragon to protect England, some would argue that there is another dragon to be slayed: Europe".
Lo and behold, in 2005 he comes out with: "I am a passionate pro-European. I always have been".
Is it any wonder that by the time we are able to retire at 70, we will all be the toothless decrepit souls we are being trained to be.
