We're still aiming big, 4Sure

Their X Factor journey may be over, but Wolverhampton band 4Sure are not giving up on their dreams of musical stardom just yet.

Just days after being voted out of the competition, the lads - Jermaine Sanderson, Donovan Bailey, Drew Fisher and Chris Watters - are already back home practising and penning new songs.

The soulful singers were facing 10 other acts on Saturday but their rendition of Rod Stewart's You're in My Heart failed to win enough votes from the public.

It was left to the judges to decide to keep the band or the lively soloist Robert - and Simon Cowell decided that it was their turn to go.

But the lads are not bitter. Jermaine said: "When he voted us out, he mouthed the word 'Sorry' to us. He is fantastic at what he does, and we still all very much respect him.

"It was very upsetting at the time but we are just moving on now and looking forward.

"We are definitely not going to give up. We write our own songs, and we are back doing that now. We are just thankful to the show for giving us so much publicity.

"A couple of months ago, nobody knew who we were, and now the whole country knows our name. It was still a great achievement to get where we did."

Drew said: "We were pleased with our performance, and it was a 50/50 chance who got voted out.

"Our family were upset but they are still very proud of what we did.

"We are just so thankful for all the support we got from everyone in the Midlands, and we just hope that continues.

"It is still really exciting. We've got Louis Walsh calling us, we're doing lots of interviews, and we've got the big tour to look forward to next year."

The band said that being part of the hit TV show had been an "unbelievable experience".

Drew added: "We got to meet Lionel Richie, Rod Stewart and the whole Osbourne family in the space of two weeks, and we had paparazzi waiting for us when we left the house. It was fantastic."
