Next time I'll walk it
On Monday August 28 a lovely card was posted to my dear friends on the occasion their golden wedding on September 1. It never arrived.
On September 5 I rang the Royal Mail. After a series of "press button one, two or three" and five minutes of music, someone answered to inform me you have to wait ten days for mail from from Wednesfield to Sedgley.
I could have walked it quicker - first class at that.
Ten days passed, another phone call, same procedure. This time I was told 15 days have to pass, then we won't be able to trace it. Anyone know of a pigeon post I could use in future?
