Hunt for Pc No1
I am endeavouring to trace my ancestors. My great grandfather, William Hopkins, born 1852 died 1939, is shown on the 1881 Census as a police constable.

At the time he was married to Eliza (Harrison) and I understand he was Police Constable No.1 of Wolverhampton.
