Toilets were disgusting
In answer to A A Hopkins (August 30) re the toilets in Hickman Park. We took my three-year-old grandson to the park on a Sunday. He needed the toilet so I took him to the ladies. As we went in the entrance, we both froze at the disgusting smell and state of the toilets.

My grandson grabbed my hand and pulled me out. I had to take him behind the bushes. It comes to something when a three-year-old won't use them, let alone grown-ups. What would visitors who may never have been to the park before think?
