Three teenage yobs who terrorised a Wolverhampton neighbourhood and flouted their ASBOs have appeared in court.

Adam Jenks, aged 17, along with Jordan Donnelly and Ryan White, both aged 16, were found guilty of breaching the orders given to them just six months ago following a campaign of violence and vandalism.

The three were among five members of a gang called the Low Hill Youth who were given three-year ASBOs in November, after 185 allegations of nuisance behaviour against them.

The orders banned all three from associating with each other.

But at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court Sandra Houston, from Dickinson Avenue, took to the witness box to say she had seen all three together as part of a larger gang outside her home.

She said: "There was a gang of about 25 outside my house, I know I saw them. The gang was there from 9pm until 11pm, they were trying to break down a street sign.

"They were making noise and generally being a nuisance, it happened right by my front gate."

Jenks and White, both of Leacroft Avenue, and Donnelly, of Dickinson Avenue, were described as a "nuisance" and found guilty of breaching their ASBOs after a day-long trial.

All three took to the witness box and denied seeing each other, but District Judge Martin Brown added their claims were "unacceptable and inconsistent."

Judge Brown told them: "I have no doubt that all three were there. All options are open when it comes to the punishment.

"The youths had publicity when they were named in relation to the first ASBO hearing, and I'm happy for them to be identified."

Jenks will appear back at court on June 11 and Donnelly on June 18 after pre-sentence reports are drawn up.

White has had an interim ASBO extended from August until October for the breach.
