Appeal to find home for artworks
An artist is hoping someone will come forward to offer her space in which to display her work.
Sue Carter, aged 65, has painted some of Wolverhampton’s most iconic buildings, which were featured in a calendar she produced.
Now she is hoping to find a suitable location to put her work on show to the public.
Sue decided during lockdown to put her talents to good use and produced a calendar to raise funds to cover her costs.
She was inspired to gain a degree in art from Wolverhampton University from which she graduated when she was 48 years old.
Sue said: “There was not much to do during lockdown and I printed the calendar to showcase my art.
"I was born in Wolverhampton and the calendar featured iconic buildings such as The Grand Theatre, The Wolves Ground, St Peter’s Church, Wednesfield Christian Centre, Wolverhampton Arts School, Wolverhampton Art Gallery and the Lighthouse Centre.
“I know we are all struggling at the moment because of the restrictions but I would like to get my work better known.
“Anyone who might be able to help me with this can contact me through my s_h_c@hotmail.co.uk email address.”
