Wolverhampton mayor preparing for quiz night with celebrities setting questions

She will tonight host the annual mayoral quiz, which is being held virtually for the first time.

Instead of inviting teams to the mayoral parlour, she is instead inviting everyone to get involved.

The fun starts at 7.30pm on the city council’s Wolverhampton Today Facebook page.

Brainboxes can join in live or visit the page at any time to take part. A range of celebrities have been persuaded to submit questions, including Suzi Perry and actresses Frances Barber and Liz Carr.

The quiz is free and there is also a free to enter raffle with prizes to win.

The star prize will be the chance to win a mini wolf from the Wolves in Wolves sculpture trail signed by Liam Payne.
