Black Country charity invites public to Ladies Day

The Beacon charity, is hosting the event to celebrate Mother's Day and also raise funds for the sight loss community.

Families will be able to treat mum to an afternoon tea, or visit the fair and take advantage of the bargains on offer.

Stalls will be selling jewellery, cards, decorations, knitted goods, food, beauty products, personalised gifts and more.

Marie O'Rourke, conferencing and facilities manager, said: "Our Ladies Day is a great way to celebrate Mother's Day with your loved ones. Our afternoon tea will keep you well fed and watered with our great selection of sandwiches, cakes and hot drinks.

"We also have an amazing bar with all the usual favourites to put your feet up after a long day of shopping."

Entry is £1 per person, under fives get in for free and parking is free. Afternoon tea is £20 for two and must be booked in advance, all money raised will help Beacon support people living with sight loss.

Lisa Cowley, Beacon CEO, added: "We are always looking for new and different ways to get the community to come down to Beacon and see what we are about.

"Ladies Day is your chance to treat your mum, or someone close, to a day of pampering and treats.
