Monte Carlo-themed ball to raise cash for the Haven
An annual fundraising ball in aid of a Wolverhampton-based charity will have all the glitz and glamour straight from Monte Carlo.
The Haven's annual ball will take place at the Mount Hotel, in Tettenhall, on Saturday, March 14.
The Monte Carlo-themed event includes a three-course meal and themed entertainment including casino tables, magicians and a virtual reality simulator. There will be an auction and disco.
Funds raised from the ball will be donated to the Haven, which supports women who are vulnerable to domestic violence and homelessness.
Jade Secker, the Haven's fundraising manager, said: "This black-tie event is a calendar must for local friendship groups, and local businesses alike.
"We are really looking forward to welcoming all of the guests who are attending and hoping it will be a night to remember.
"Every penny raised will be supporting women and children in our shared community who are sadly in dire need of support due to domestic abuse and homelessness – events like these help us raise vital awareness and funds to ensure the Haven can be there for women and children at what is an incredibly dark and distressing time.”
