Festive feel comes to Bilston with Christmas lights switch-on - with pictures and video

Black Country Britain's Got Talent star Our Trace, Dicky Dodd and Wolverhampton Mayoress Claire Darke brought a festive feel to Bilston with the annual Christmas lights switch-on event.

The event, in partnership with Discover Bilston, also featured a Signal 107 Roadshow and a grand procession from McDonalds to the Town Hall.

Entertainment also included Santa's grotto for youngsters to visit.

Other switch-on events that have taken part across the region include Bantock House, Wednesfield High Street, Tettenhall's Upper Green, and Wolverhampton City Centre.

The city centre switch-on was attended by Hi-de-Hi! star Su Pollard, who will be starring in Wolverhampton Grand's pantomime Dick Whittington.
