Three months since he returned to destroy his former Schadenfreude colleagues, WWE UK Champion Walter finally got to face Tipton’s Chris Brookes.

As he had done before the Austrian’s match against Mark Davis in February, Brookes berated Walter before the match. He told him to go back to the WWE UK Performance Centre in London, and made fun of the fact that he looks like the son of legendary luchadore Rey Mysterio.

Walter responded with fistic irony, blitzing Brookes early and hitting Mysterio’s trademark 619 move. There are few things more incongruous than the giant Austrian doing a flying move made famous by someone barely more than a third of his size. The moment was captured as an official “Twitter moment” and Walter has released “SECHS EINS NEUN” T-shirt to mark the moment.

Brookes managed to avoid a quick loss from Walter’s giant splash from the top rope. He didn’t however escape being thrown around The Hangar, with Walter throwing Brookes into chairs and barricades. It was a brutal outing for Brookes, who also took strong blows from the heavy hands of his opponent.

With help from Kid Lykos, Brookes would get back into the match, with both men being denied clear pinfals by shenanigans. Ultimately all three of the promotions referees were laid out, so forcing the No Contest.

Both Schadenfreude and Team Fight Club: PRO rushed out to brawl with the former ultimately laying out the likes of Walter, Clint Margera and Martin Zaki.

But their night wasn’t over, with the West Midlands’ own WWE superstars, British Strong Style returning to Fight Club: PRO for the first time since December.

To deafening cheers from the local fans, Wolverhampton’s Trent Seven, Dudley’s Tyler Bate and Birmingham’s Pete Dunne got the better of Schadenfreude and cleared the ring. Fight Club: PRO co-owner, Trent Seven reiterated that a team representing the promotion will defeat Schadenfreude at a special Project Death House match in September.

It was a hot end to another strong show. The night started hot, with Ireland’s Jordan Devlin defeating Canada’s Mike Bailey in a hard-hitting, scientific wrestling match. Less successful was Birmingham’s Dan Moloney taking on Wolverhampton resident Kyle Fletcher, with the match never quite hitting top gear due to Fletcher’s frequent stalling.

Moloney did not look quite as dominant as he had in previous matches. Fletcher’s tag team partner would have a stronger match, with Fight Club: PRO World Champion Mark Davis having a tremendous brawl with America’s Eddie Kingston. They would brawl around ringside, hit each other with weapons and big moves, before Davis got the victory with a piledriver through a table. .

Fight Club: PRO returns to The Hangar on Friday, September 27, and Saturday, September 28 . Rise Against will shortly be available as part of the Fight Club: PRO Unlimited Streaming Service, or to purchase separately as a DVD or Video-on-Demand.
