Victory Painting Group were originally based at Victory Hall in Lower Penn, but made the decision to move to the Lydiate Room, next to Baggeridge Country Park. earlier this year.

The group, who have 36 members and a waiting list to join stretching over three years, have been working to remind their followers that they have moved to their new home ahead of an exhibition on 24th and 25th August.

Rose Kudlacek, a founder member of the group, acknowledged that their new home was proving difficult to find.

She said: "I just fell in love with the place because it's in such a beautiful setting, being right by the park, and it's a lovely, new building, but the trouble is no one knows we're here.

"When we first moved in, the trees were bare, so you could see the building. But now, because the trees have got so lush and beautiful, it's gotten hidden a little bit"

Visitors to the group can view exhibitions by visiting artists and, for £4, enjoy coffee and a selection of cakes, as well as a chat with members of the group.

The group have a website (http://www.victorypaintinggroup.co.uk) and are planning to launch a Facebook group.

They can be found at The Lydiate room, Brick Kiln Way, Baggeridge Country Park, Gospel End, Sedgley, South Staffordshire, DY3 4BE.
