Wolverhampton's Bryony Williams releases latest single
Wolverhampton singer-songwriter Bryony Williams is back with her latest single – Little Tree – hot off the back of her previous release Silhouette.
Released on Friday, the track is the A-side of a two-track compilation, following the release of Silhouette on April 19.
A spokesperson said: “Featuring Bryony’s trademark wistful, Kate Bush-esque vocals and her empowering and playful guitar riffs, Little Tree acts as a reminder that everything is temporary, including your current self.
“The track showcases her habit of constantly analysing and depicting her own personality and actions, and to recognise her own growth and recoil.”

And former The Ticket Unsigned page star Bryony herself added: “I often over-analyse everything I do and it is exhausting. The world then seems so dull and slow. Everything loses its meaning because nothing is new and exciting to me.
“It’s a catch-22 song.”
Bryony, aged 22, has spent the past three years establishing herself with a brand of personal, unapologetic and progressive indie-folk-pop. Citing Radiohead, Anna Calvi and Cocteau Twins as her influences, she seamlessly intertwines her sound to create dreamy, hook-laden soundscapes.
It’s been a busy year for the singer-songwriter. She has already been highlighted as one of the ’25 to watch in the Midlands in 2019’ by BBC WM and shortlisted for Best Album/EP at the upcoming Birmingham Music Awards 2019.

On top of her music, Bryony founded the female music collective GRRRL GROANNN!!!, which she says was inspired by the Riot Grrrl movement, where "my need to break the patriarchal industry structures and to represent female artists in true underground, DIY fashion takes place through fanzine making, event management and operating as an indie label".
GRRRL GROANNN!!! has again released this brand new track.
Little Tree is available digitally, including on her Spotify page.
