Former Wolves star Jody Craddock to open new Debenhams in Wolverhampton's Mander Centre

Former Wolves star and captain Jody Craddock will be opening the new Debenhams store in Wolverhampton's Mander Centre, alongside a specially chosen local hero, it can be revealed.

The new Debenhams will be opened in a special ceremony on Thursday, October 12.

It is the centre piece of the Mander Centre's multi-million pound refurbishment due to be completed by Autumn this year.

Jody said: "I am really excited to kick off Debenhams Wolverhampton new store opening and see what fashions are in-store. Having worn shorts for over 20 years, I am looking forward to getting suited and booted for the event.”

Jody will be joined by a special individual nominated by members of the public to cut the ribbon and win a raft of prizes.

The prize includes a beauty makeover, in addition to £200 to spend on Debenhams exclusive ranges including Star by Julien Macdonald, J by Jasper Conran, No1. by Jenny Packham and Studio by Preen, and the leading beauty brands in the beauty hall.

Nominations are being accepted up to Friday, September 29 and should include contact details for the nominee, a photograph, as well as the reasons for the nomination.
