Enjoy Wolverhampton Live: Crowds turn out for city gig in tribute to attack victims - in photos and video
Hundreds of people were able to enjoy a free all-day event in the city centre on Saturday which paid a poignant tribute to those affected by the Manchester terror attack.
Security had been tightened at the free Enjoy Wolverhampton Live event which was held in Queen Square in the city from midday.
Family friendly activities were on offer from noon to 4pm and a variety of music acts including Toploader and the Hoosiers began in the evening.
Shortly before Toploader took to the stage, Signal 107's Dicky Dodd who was compère for the event asked people to sing along to Oasis track Don't Look Back In Anger as a tribute to the people of Manchester affected by the recent terror attack.
Dicky Dodd said: "After recent events in Manchester I would like everyone to sing along and pay tribute to the people that were affected.

"So we're going to sing Oasis' Don't Look Back In Anger as tomorrow the city is to host it's own tribute concert."
Hundreds of flags were waved in the air and people sang together for the entirety of the track, which was particularly meaningful to some in the audience.
Andrew Smith, 47, who works for the NHS was in the crowd with wife Emma Gilbert-Smith and their daughter Maisie Gilbert-Smith, aged five all of Penn.
Andrew said: "I think it was a really special moment because it really brings it home to you in an event such as this what it like to be there in Manchester at that time.
"It's especially poignant for Maisie as she's been asking us a lot of questions all day about security.
"She's asked why people have had to search our bags, whether a gun can fit in people's bags, and where we should be.
"It shows you really the affect of these things on children, We've just reassured her here and we've all enjoyed ourselves today."
Cherry Shine, manager of the event, said: "It has been a really fantastic atmosphere here today and we're so glad that so many people came along to enjoy what Wolverhampton has to offer. I think this is something we would like to continue and see more of in the city centre and I'm proud that we were able to pay our tribute to Manchester today too."
