Black Country Festival: The line up for this year's event

It will be a proper Black Country knees-up during this year's festival. Here are some of the highlights still to come:

  • On July 7 the Bonded Warehouse, in Canal Street, Stourbridge, is hosting a street food fair from 5pm to 9pm. Organisers will be joined by Sadler’s Brewing Company with their Peaky Blinders Black IPA Ale and ST Cafe will be providing a late 19th century menu of pie and mask and faggots and peas. They asked people to dress in support of the “Feeling Peaky” theme. Other traders who will be there on the night include The Indian Lunchbox, The Pork Society, Gresko Bohdi, Nanny P’s, Greens Vegan Catering, Sidewalk Grill , Shake Waffle & Roll, Gelato Palazzo, The Little Gin Company, Trailer Made Cocktails, The Prosecco Bicycle and the Half Penny Green Cider Company. The event is supporting ‘Leslie's Care Packages For The Homeless’ which is a voluntary group supporting and providing much needed provisions to rough sleepers, homeless and disadvantaged people across the Black Country. There is also music from musician Esther Turner, and GC Murals who will be creating some artwork live and will have a selection of artwork for you to purchase. There is also a mini art, craft and vintage flea market.

  • Black Country Living Museum hosts its weekend of activities on July 8 and 9 featuring a discovery trail and demonstrations. Its 1940s weekend will be held on July 15 and 16.

  • Gornal Funday will be held on July 8 on the Recreation Ground, in Vale Street.

  • TV comic Ross Noble will headline a huge night of comedy at Brierley Hill Civic Hall on Black Country Day, July 14. He will be joined on the bill by a host of Black Country acts including Jonny Cole.

  • On the same night there will also be a Black Country variety show held at Great Bridge Library.

  • On July 14 there is the Black Country Masters Golf Tournament at Dudley Golf Club, in Turner's Hill, Rowley Regis.

  • A day later Dudley hosts its main celebrations for the festival with its funday taking place on July 15. There will be entertainment all day long in Stone Street Square and the town centre. There will be live music, poets corner, wrestling and arts and crafts stalls.

  • Old Hill Festival takes place on July 15 featuring a host of tribute acts, a funfair, stalls, and the best Black Country grub. A night of live music starts from 7pm featuring tributes to Take That and the Jersey Boys

  • Over the weekend the Red House Glass Cone, in Camp Hill, Wordsley, is hosting a teenage market. Young people will be on site aged from 12 to 23 selling good and holding performances.

  • A huge show will be coming to Wolverhampton's West Park across July 15 and 16 linked with this year's Black Country Festival. Wolverhampton Fiesta will feature a mini and giant monster truck display, stunt show, classic car exhibition, a moving T-Rex dinosaur. Star of ITV's The Voice singer Jason Jones from Brownhills is also performing across the weekend. There will also be a fun fair. Tickets are £3 for adults and £2 for children.

  • On July 15 The Old Post Office pub, in Holyhead Road, Wednesbury, hosts its own Black Country Day celebrations. There will be live music all day featuring Wednesbury's own Jonny Cole and Andy Bennett, formerly of Ocean Colour Scene.

  • The Holly Bush pub in Newtown Lane, Cradley Heath, will be transformed for the so-called smallest comedy festival in the world known as Bushfest. It features a host of top Midlands comics including West Bromwich's Masai Graham, winner of the best joke at the Edinburgh Fringe.The event takes place across July 20 to 23 from 7pm on Thursday and Friday and from 3pm on the weekend.

  • Brierley Hill joins the Black Country Festival on July 22 with the high street taken over by The Brier Fair. It will feature market stalls, a funfair, and street entertainment. It will be held from 11am to 5pm.

  • Dudley hosts a classic car display and parade as part of the Black Country Festival on July 22 from 11am to 3.30pm.

  • Also on July 22 there will be a family funday event at Kingswinford Royal British Legion, in Summerhill, Kingswinford. There will be Dudley's Dis-nay Family Disco, brought to you by Mommy's Mascots More and Sammy Taypot, raising money for Mary Stevens Hospice. There will be magic, costumed characters, games, dancing, sing-a-longs, face painting, raffle, tombola and lots for all the family. It is £6 per ticket.

  • Tipton Leisure Centre, in Alexander Road, holds a sports and games day as part of the festival on July 23. Among the activities on offer are a bouncy castle, face painting, mini golf, West Midlands Fire Service, 80s themed aqua fit, fitness class demos, rowing competitions, a Tug O War contest, ice cream seller, stalls, hook a duck, find the treasure game, and pool fun sessions.

  • On July 23 Brockmoor and Pensnett will join the festival hosting its Black Country Funday at The Dell Stadium, in Bryce Road. There will be a petting zoo, magic zoo, sports games and a funfair rides and much more. It is on from 1pm to 5pm.

  • On July 30 Coseley will be hosting its Black Country Day celebrations with an event in Castle Street, Roseville, from 1pm to 5pm. There will be a performance from the West Midlands Fire Service brass band, a Punch & Judy show, a funfair, a fire walker, entertainment, raffle backed by local shopkeepers, a bouncy castle and stalls.
