Jet2.com expands Birmingham Airport ski programme
With the main summer holiday season over and locals looking to head off to the slopes, Jet2.com has announced details of its winter’s ski programme from Birmingham Airport.
The airline will operate ski flights to four top ski destinations – Geneva, Grenoble, Salzburg and Turin – from Birmingham Airport this winter, with over 45,000 ski seats on sale to the snow – a capacity increase of 17 per cent on last winter.
From December Jet2 will run flights to Geneva three times a week, a pair of weekend services to Grenoble, weekly Saturday flights to Salzburg in Austria and a pair of weekend flights to Turin. Most services will run until April.
To kick off its ski programme, Jet2.com is today launching a half price ski carriage offer on ski flights to these destinations from Birmingham Airport.
The promotion applies to new bookings before October 31 for people travelling between November 1 and April 30 on the ski routes, and will mean a saving of £30 on ski carriage – normally £60 return.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “We are expecting another popular ski season from Birmingham Airport, thanks to our perfectly flights to four fantastic destinations which open up the very best slopes in Europe. On top of that, skiers and snowboarders can now take advantage of our fantastic half price ski carriage offer, meaning they can enjoy 22kg of ski allowance for just £30 return.”
Jet2.com ski flights from Birmingham Airport start from £39 one way including taxes.
