Aladdin and his mates are rubbing their lamp to make sure they put on a bostin' panto – with a Black Country twang.

Hurst Hill Pantomime Players in Hurst Road, Coseley, will be staging the show, written by member Kathryn Williams, at Hurst Hill Methodist Church. It includes Black Country dialect and references to local places.

Twelve-year-old Alicia Nelson is taking on the lead role of Aladdin.

There will be two performances on each of the Saturdays February 25 and March 3 – at 2.30pm and 7.30pm - and just one show on March 2 at at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £4.50 for adults and £3.50 for children and are available from Kathryn Williams on 01902 675058.
