The Town Hall has launched a summer arts project that encompasses events, a talent search and interactive art workshops which are all taking place online.

The project will take place over six weeks, throughout July and August.

People are invited to submit themselves performing a talent, such as singing, dancing or magic.

Industry professionals will judge the footage and narrow it down to finalists who will perform over social media and if restrictions permit, a live audience at Kidderminster Town Hall.

There will also be weekly art tutorials by a local artist who will be discussing a different theme each week, favourite pieces will be chosen to be displayed in a pop-up art gallery.

Matt Smith, from The Town Hall said, “We’re very excited to be offering a way to keep children and adults entertained over the summer, with social restrictions we’ve had to be creative in how we deliver this.

"We believe a digital platform will be a positive way to engage our community as the Town Hall has currently had to close."

Digital events have also been planned to take place on Facebook including an Organ Recital and Jazz Club.
