Wolverhampton performers to take part in West End fundraiser
A virtual variety show is set to be streamed next weekend.
Created by Toast 32 Film Co, Josephine Buchan and Matt Elson, of Wolverhampton, Live at Joe's! will see a host of performers strut their stuff in a pre-recorded concert set to be shown on YouTube at 8pm on July 4.
The show will see a finale performance from Wolverhampton-based dancers Michael Astley, Richard Astbury, Jordan Barratt, Tasheka Coe, Jonathan Dudley, Tom Guest, Abbie Jordan, Harveen Mann, Pascale Mellor and Holly White.
There will also be performances from the likes Steve Hewlett, Patricia Hodge and Sir Derek Jacobi.
Drag queen La Voix will compere the show.
Hosted by London restaurant Joe Allen, the show will raise money for theatre's in the area.
Guests will also be sent cocktail recipes ahead of time to recreate Joe Allen favourites from home.
