Saltmine Theatre Company have worked to put together an online Easter version of the play, which took part in Birmingham in 2019, with three episodes put together.

The lockdown restrictions for coronavirus have meant the company had to get creative in how they produced the content.

This saw actors recorded remotely by professional videographers and technicians, who then worked to create an audio visual version of the Passion play with photos from the perfomance last year.

Rachael Orrell, Saltmine’s chief executive, said she was excited about sharing the resource.

She said: "We are doing this as a free resource to share Jesus’ journey to the cross, crucifixion and resurrection."

The videos will be available to watch on Saltmine's YouTube channel.
