Wolverhampton Grand pays tribute to NHS as closure extended
Wolverhampton Grand Theatre's closure period has been extended until May 4.
After initially announcing it would be closing its doors until March 29, then April 19, now the closure has been extended until May.
The theatre will be contacting those who had booked performances up until May 4.
A statement on the website says: "Everyone at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre hopes you are keeping safe and well in these challenging times.
"Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the theatre will now remain closed until Monday 4 May.
"If you were due to come to a performance between the dates of Monday 16 March and Sunday 3 May, you will receive an email from the Theatre during the next few days. If we do not hold an email address for you, we will write to you directly by post, however this may take a little longer. The correspondence will outline your options and take you through a step by step process to manage your bookings.
"It is unfortunate that some productions have been completely cancelled, however some have been re-scheduled for later in the year and we hope you will be able to attend the new date and have a visit to the Grand Theatre to look forward to.
"We kindly ask that all enquiries are directed through feedback@grandtheatre.co.uk and your queries will be answered as soon as possible.
"Thank you so much for all the support and kind words during this unprecedented time. We hope to see you in the not too distant future."
