Moulin Rouge on way to theatre

A tribute to Moulin Rouge will be coming to Cannock's Prince of Wales Centre next month.

Come What May pays homage to the movie-musical, set in the Paris underworld.

Taking place on March 12 at the Church Street venue, it will include Come What May, Your Song, Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend, Roxanne and Lady Marmalade plus hit songs from The Greatest Showman and other iconic movie musicals.

Julie Sweeney, who runs Sweeney Entertainments with her husband Peter, who are putting on the show, said: “This is our most exciting new production for 2020. The songs of are unforgettable...a spectacular combination of classic songs brought to life under the glitz and glamour of the Moulin Rouge.”

Sweeney Entertainments has been providing a wide repertoire of top-quality touring shows for theatre and corporate events for more than 15 years and now boasts a repertoire of 14 touring productions.
