Wolverhampton students to highlight environmental problems in dance show
Performing arts students at a Black Country college are to highlight environmental problems when they take to the stage for their annual dance show.
Around 30 students from Wolverhampton College will perform in the show which will shine a light on problems caused by plastic waste and global warming.
The students, who are studying for UAL diplomas and extended diplomas in performing arts, will be putting on the show at the college's Paget Road campus on Wednesday, February 5, and Thursday, February 6.
The performers will be showcasing their skills in choreography and movement techniques and playing music on instruments sourced or made from materials destined for landfill, whilst students studying for UAL diplomas and extended diplomas in music technology will be providing technical support at the event.
The show will start at 7pm on both days.
Tickets, which cost £3, can be purchased on the door or in advance from reception at the Paget Road campus.
