Vicar of Dibley brought to the stage in new theatre production

The hilarity of the Vicar of Dibley will be brought to the stage by a theatre company.

CADS will be performing a version of the hit comedy, which starred Dawn French, next week.

The West Bromwich-based theatre company has brought together three classic episodes in their new production.

Featured episodes including news Alice Tinker and Hugo's baby is on the way, the Christmas lunch episode and the nativity.

The Vicar is played by Dawn Dodwell and Verger Alice Tinker is performed by Amy Whistance.

Five years ago CADS also staged three episodes of the series written by Richard Curtis and Paul Mayhew-Archer.

The show is being staged at Gayton Road Theatre, in Gayton Road, West Bromwich, between November 20 and 23.

Doors open at 7pm with curtains up at 7.30pm.
