Ahoy there matey! Stafford Gatehouse release swashbuckling trailer for festive panto
To celebrate the launch of their Christmas panto, Peter Pan, the Gatehouse Theatre has released a cinematic trailer that sprinkles a little bit of magic over Stafford town centre.
The trailer includes a series local landmarks including Market Square and the Ancient High House, as Captain Hook navigates his galleon through Stafford and docks at the banks of the River Sow.
Following the dastardly crew, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell fly through the snowy skies above in pursuit.
Gatehouse Marketing Manager, Jemma Harrison, commented: “Stafford is an architecturally beautiful town and provides the perfect backdrop to our magical Christmas trailer.
"It’s designed to build the anticipation and give our audiences a taste of what to expect when the curtain goes up on December 13".
To coincide with the trailer release, Stafford Gatehouse has launched a competition on their Facebook page for readers to win one of four family tickets.
In order to win one of the prizes, users must tag a 'panto loving mate' in the post and share it.
Winners will be picked at 4pm today.
Peter Pan will see Eastenders and Coronation Street star Ian Reddington take on the role of Captain Hook, alongside Corey Taylor in the title role as Peter Pan.
They will be joined by Charlotte Fishwick as Wendy, Natalie Harman as Tiger Lily, Kieran Morris playing John, James Dangerfield as Smee, Dereck Walker in the role of Starkey, and Sasha Latoya as Tink.
The pantomime will be produced by Prime Pantomimes, a new production company from the minds of Selladoor Theatre and Immersion Theatre.
Peter Pan comes to Stafford Gatehouse Theatre from Monday, December 13, to Sunday, January 5.
Tickets start from £17 and are available from staffordgatehousetheatre.co.uk or by calling 01785 619080.
