Wolverhampton Grand at 125: We’ll look after this delivery for you
Mine's a Scotch and sober! A couple of actors hijack a drinks delivery outside The Grand as they play up to the camera.
Mac McPlastered and Cardinal Wooley de Wyndy were pictured checking up on the stocks for a forthcoming medieval banquet.
And the delivery man in the background is clearly not sure what to make of them.
The pair were later joined by the rest of the cast of the Royal Court of King Cedric the Strange to present an evening of madcap humour at the Lichfield Street venue.
The show, staged by the Not Quite Theatre Company, was a pre-Christmas treat in December 1990.
The picture is reproduced here as part of celebrations to mark the Grand’s milestone 125th anniversary. The Express & Star is publishing a weekly archives picture in association with the Grand’s own 125 Memories Project.
