Join Maid Marion and merry men for Oldbury pantomime
Audiences will be transported to Sherwood Forest for an annual Black Country pantomime.
Oldbury Rep will be telling the story of Robin Hood for their belated festive treat later this month.
A spokesman said: "It is pantomime time at Oldbury Rep and this season we are heading for Sherwood Forest with the traditional and very popular story of Robin Hood.
"Join Robin Hood and his Merry Men as they fight for the rights of the down trodden villagers against the evil, scheming Sheriff of Nottingham and his bungling henchman Bullseye.
"Will Robin Hood and his men save the day and will Robin save Maid Marian from the Sheriff's clutches and find true love? All will be revealed in our traditional fun-filled family pantomime.
"But be prepared for a few surprises along the way. Tickets are flying out of the door so make sure you book yours now."
The pantomime runs at the theatre between Friday, January 11, and Saturday, January 19. Matinee shows will take place on January 12, 13 and 19.
There will be no performance on Wednesday, January 16. The show is not suitable for children aged under three.
Evening performances start at 7.30pm, while the matinee shows kick-off at 2.30pm.
Tickets cost £11 and can be booked by calling the box office on 0121 552 2761 or by visiting www.oldburyrep.org.
