Angelos and Barry will perform in Halesowen in March

Angelos Epithemiou and Barry from Watford will take centre stage at the Comedy At The Cornbow at Cornbow Hall, in Halesowen.

Burger van owner Angelos is best know for his appearances on cult television show Shooting Stars alongside Bob Mortimer and Vic Reeves – and then went on to have his own show, The Angelos Epithemiou Show.

Octagenarian Barry, aged 85, is a popular fixture on Steve Wright's BBC Radio 2 show.

Angelos and Barry record a podcast which is downloaded by more than 30,000 people a week and went on a sell-out tour together last year.

The show in Halesowen will take place on Friday, March 8. They will be supported on the night by Canadian cult comic Tony Law and hotly-tipped Black Country musical comic Jonny Cole.

It will be hosted by resident MC Wayne Beese.

Mr Beese said: "We are delighted to be bringing Angelos and Barry to Halesowen.

“They are a real oddball comedy duo and you never quite know what will happen when they are on stage together – but it’s guaranteed to be hilarious and a lot of fun.

“We have had great support so far – the shows featuring Tom Stade and Milton Jones were both complete sell-outs."
