Steve Bull tees off for Wolverhampton theatre funds
Steve Bull swung in to take part in a charity golf day.
The Wolves and England legend was at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre’s inaugural golf day on July 5.
The event helped raise funds to support the continued operation and education projects at the theatre in Wolverhampton city centre. It took place at the Wergs Golf Club and Bully was joined by a host of other golfers during the sunny afternoon.
The former goalscorer has previously backed the Lichfield Street theatre by donating £3,500 to its education project An Introduction To Pantomime.
Last year, Bully joined golfers at Shropshire’s Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club to help raise more than £12,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust charity. His own charity, the Steve Bull Foundation, provides charitable support in the form of grants to organisations primarily in the Black Country, which specialise in assisting young people, the disabled, the homeless, the sick and the disadvantaged.
