Wolverhampton Spamalot dress rehearsal hits all the right notes

South Staffs Operatic Company has returned to Wolverhampton's Grand Theatre with the hit musical Spamalot.

The show, which started last night and runs until Saturday, is lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

South Staffs’ production features newcomer to the company and to the area Jon Ranwell as King Arthur. John has worked professionally on stage and trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.

James Collins who works regularly with Fizzog Productions play sPatsy. Sisters Natasha Bennett-Ince and Lexie Bennett share the role of Lady Of The Lake at alternate performances. Simon McGee plays Lancelot, Mike James has returned to the company after a 30 year absence as Sir Robin and Chris Dowen play Sir Galahad. Adam Starr plays Prince Herbert.
