Eastenders' Rita Simons to star in Legally Blonde The Musical at Wolverhampton Grand
Eastenders star Rita Simons will appear in Legally Blonde The Musical when it comes to Wolverhampton later this year.
The actress, best known for her role as Roxy Mitchell, will appear alongside fellow soap stars Lucie Jones (Eastenders) and Bill Ward (Coronation Street).
Based on the Reese Witherspoon film, the musical earned seven Tony nominations and 10 Drama Desk Award nominations during its Broadway run. In the UK it was nominated for five Laurence Olivier Awards, winning three including Best New Musical, and was nominated for eight Whatsonstage Awards, winning four, including Best Musical.
The show comes to Wolverhampton Grand Theatre from November 7 to 11.
