The Cosford-born star had her first Covid-19 vaccination in Wolverhampton and has encouraged everyone living in the city to have theirs and “get in with the pack”.
The 50-year-old broadcaster, who attended Smestow School, had her first vaccine injection at Aldersley Leisure Village after becoming eligible through the continued rollout of the national vaccination programme.
She said: “I didn’t feel a thing. It’s pretty apt that I’m at this stadium because I used to come running here and now, I feel like I can get up and go running again.”
