Rugeley author's success in the States
A Staffordshire woman has published a book which has been a hit in America.
Chloe Ormerod, from Rugeley, published a book called One Girl's Army in 2018 which has now become popular in America. In recent weeks she has done an interview for America Tonight with Kate Delaney.
The 24-year-old is now penning her second novel, this time a sci-fi one.
She said: "One Girl's Army is about a young woman who has lost her brother at a young age and has been traumatised by her brother's death.
"Her fear evolves into a paranormal entity that manipulates her to do her bidding.
"My first interview was for America Tonight on Boxing Day.
"I'm now working on another book, hopefully it should be published this year.
"It's a completely different book, this is sci fi.
"I've been interested in writing ever since I was 16 when I was in high school.
"I started writing comic books with my friends and that's how my story telling journey began."
