The Stafford Walking Street Market returned to the county town for the second time since reopening after lockdown for an afternoon of music and street food.

The event on Thursday, August 13 saw those present enjoy warm weather and a range of entertainment, from soloist Beth Knott to bands like 20 Mile Islands, with a range of food and drink on offer.

All those present were asked to adhere to strict social distancing guidelines, including track and trace and the wearing of face masks.

Organiser Lorraine Conkey thanked everyone for coming along and enjoying themselves, while also following the safety measures in place.

She said: "The retailers, street food vendors and mobile bars did a great job and the feedback has been fantastic.

"It's a community event and free of charge, so it's great to see many people supporting the event, even under the strange circumstances at this moment in time"

The next Stafford Walking Street Market will take place on Thursday, September 10.
